Blurred Vision

What Is Blurry Vision?

Blurred vision is the lack of sharpness that can affect one or both eyes and results in the inability to see fine details.

Possible Causes of Blurred Vision:

Blurry vision is typically caused from tiredness, dryness of eyes, or eye strain. But keep in mind, several eye conditions can also be the reason your vision isn’t as clear as it should be:

  • Astigmatism
  • Pink eye
  • Allergies
  • Near vision work
  • Myopia
  • Hyperopia

How To Treat It:

For mild blurry vision, try resting your eyes and hydrating by drinking lots of water. If the blurry vision persists, make an appointment for an eye exam so that an eye doctor can help you determine the cause of your blurry vision. Scheduling An Eye Exam

If you have persistent blurred vision or one eye becomes blurry or completely dark all of the sudden, schedule an appointment or visit an emergency room/urgent care center immediately. Consider this an emergency for a possible stroke or retinal detachment problem.
